Blanketed in Love is an outreach program established by a textile and design company, Dreaming About Giraffes. The dream for this program is to provide the most basic comfort (with the highest quality fabrics) to our littlest souls.
Every parent is thankful to the hospital that helped bring their baby into the world. The Blanketed in Love program gives patients an opportunity to give back, acknowledging their appreciation for exceptional care.
Hospitals have many uses for these quality blankets. Our blankets are used in the NICU for infants receiving kangaroo care, and can beautifully decorate isolettes. They also make a wonderful going-home gifts for newborns leaving the hospital.
Blanketed in Love supports the  by making a donation every time the following products are purchased at our online store:
- $5 for each Cuddler or Stuffed Animal ($25 purchase)
- $5 for each Soxster ($35 purchase)
- $15 for each Pillow Pal Blanket ($45 purchase)
- $25 for each Mural Blanket ($75 purchase)
Patients can purchase any of the above items for donation to their hospital or the care provider of their choice, and the March of Dimes donation will be made in the hospital’s name.
How hospitals can participate in the Blanketed in Love program:
- When we send you a free blanket for display, we will provide you with Blanketed in Love postcards to be shared with newborn parents at your hospital.
- Participating hospitals can choose to work with their Gift Shop to help customers purchase blankets and animals for donation. Please have your Gift Shop buyer contact elyse@dreamingaboutgiraffes.com.
